Who’s behind this passion project?

Hi there! I’m Sarah, a Filipina mom raising two adventurous, trilingual kids in Germany.

When I first moved here, I had no idea how to keep my family’s Filipino heritage alive, let alone teach my children the language and culture I grew up with.

But as I’ve been navigating this crazy, beautiful journey of raising multicultural kids, I realized we’re not alone.

There are tons of families like ours out there, juggling languages, cultures, and all the fun (and sometimes chaotic) moments of parenthood.

That’s why I started this little project. It’s a way to share our love for Filipino-German culture and language with other families and to show our appreciation for other cultures through our travels.

Hopefully, we can build a community of like-minded parents and educators who are just as excited about this as we are.
